Kids Baking Championship Cooking Class & Viewing Party

Do your kids love the Kids Baking Championship? Ours do, so bring your children to the Kids Cooking School for a cooking class / viewing party this season.

We will watch the show each week and actually learn how to cook the challenge they have on the show!

We recently learned that Season 5 of the Kids Baking Championship will be airing much earlier this year than it has in the past. This show usually airs in January but will now be on the Food Network in August and September for it’s 5th season.

We have had so much fun over the last two years working with students who dream of getting cast on this show. We haven’t had a student on the show yet, but several have made it extremely far in the casting process.

What To Expect In Class

For each episode of the Kids Baking Championship on the Food Network, we will host a class / viewing party where the students can learn to bake the dessert from the show highlights, and then watch the episode afterwards to see what the contestants actually create on the show.

This class begins August 6th and runs through the duration of the season. This is going to be a spectacularly fun evening to wrap up the summer and kick off the fall season.

At this time, the show is scheduled to air from 8-9pm Central. Children must be picked up by 9:15pm at the latest.

Will you be cooking during the show?

No. The class will run for 2-3 hours (depending on the recipe) before the show begins. We will cleanup and get comfy to watch the show. Since we only have stools and one futon, students are welcome to bring a folding chair, yoga mat, or blanket to be more comfortable.

How do you know what will be on the show?

We don’t actually know what the contestants are going to make. But we do have an idea of what they are making based on the show descriptions from the Food Network website. Only the first 3 episodes have been released as of today (July 21st). We will add more details as soon as they become available.
