Are you looking for MEA Break Cooking Camps in the Twin Cities? Our School Release Cooking Camps are just what you are looking for to educate and entertain your student. From Nailed It! challenges to beginner’s cooking skills to advanced baking techniques, we keep your kids engaged in fun cooking experiences when school is closed.
During class your student is too busy to worry about their phone while they learn both savory and sweet recipes and cook in their own fully-equipped cooking station with no more than one partner (unless a group of 3 friends request the same station.)
The Kids Cooking School Is The Happiest Kitchen On Earth!
During these educational classes disguised as fun cooking activities, students:
- Develop self-confidence and self-worth and
- Discover the joy of hands-on, healthy cooking at their own station
- Enhance executive functions like following directions, increasing attention span to work on tasks that take time, and reinforcing math skills through culinary conversions.
- Encouraging a growth mindset through recipe alterations, substitutions, and learning from mistakes.
While MEA is officially October 18th and 19th, some school districts have school release days earlier in the week. We host a school release cooking camp for each day during the week of October.
