Fri Sep 11th – Korean Bulgogi Tacos with Korean-Style Slaw and Tortillas
Time: Friday, September 11th from 2-4pm. (This class is also offered on Wednesday, Sep 9th from 3-5pm)
Age Range: 6th grade and up
Price includes: 2 hours of cooking instruction plus ingredients for 4 servings (yields 12-14 tacos) to bring home for a family dinner. Additional servings may be requested for an additional $5 per serving. Please email email@example.com immediately if you would like more servings. Additional serving costs can be paid at the time of class. See detailed ingredients below. Substitutions are only allowed for allergies and may affect price. Price goes up to $55 after Sunday, September 7th.

Recipe Level: Easy
At Home: Assemble tacos at home. Ziploc bags will be provided for taco meat, slaw, and extra sauce. Sriracha is provided during cooking, but additional sriracha as a topping must be provided at home.
3 pounds ground beef
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar (in place of Mirin)
2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup sesame oil
6 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons peeled and grated fresh ginger
For Korean-Style Slaw:
3 cups roughly chopped cabbage
1 cup matchstick-size radish slices (in place of Daikon)
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
6 scallions, diced
For Soy Lime Dressing:
2 limes, juiced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (in place of Mirin)
2 tablespoons Sriracha
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Plus one bag of corn or flour tortillas
