Time: Friday, September 25th from 2-4pm. (This class is also offered on Wednesday, Sep 23rd from 3-5pm)

Age Range: 6th grade and up

Price includes: 2 hours of cooking instruction plus ingredients for 4 servings  to bring home for a family dinner. Additional servings may be requested for an additional $5 per serving. Please email tiffany@kidscookingschool.org immediately if you would like more servings. Additional serving costs can be paid at the time of class. See detailed ingredients below. Substitutions are only allowed for allergies and may affect price. Price goes up to $47.50 after Sunday, September 20th.

Recipe: Chicken Curry with Naan Bread and Steamed Brocolli

Recipe Level: Easy

At Home: Containers will be provided for chicken, naan bread, and broccoli. Plate at home and eat! There's no reason they shouldn't be able to do this on their own going forward. 🙂

Ingredients: 

1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast chopped into bite sized pieces
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
1 small white onion chopped, or yellow
2 Tablespoons yellow curry powder
1 Tablespoon Thai red curry paste
15 oz coconut milk canned, full fat
1/2 cup water, or chicken stock optional
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon fish sauce
2 Tablespoons lime juice
salt to taste
2 oz fresh cilantro roughly chopped
4 cups cooked white rice and 1 head of steamed broccoli
