This year our Harry Potter theme is pretty epic. We have a paper template for 22 buildings in our model book and we have enlarged them by 200%! Each student will get to choose which building to make on their own at the normal size and also participate in our group project to make a Hogwarts paper model that might not fit on your dining room table. This is a STEAM class and students will gain an understanding of:
- engineering and architecture of paper models
- preparing a base
- fine motor skill development
- glue experiments to determine what holds the best
- most importantly - working with a team when things go wrong 🙂
What To Bring to Camp:
- Bring a cold lunch and a water bottle
- Long hair should be tied back away from their faces
